OCUK CSS TOURNEY!!!

Hi guys i was thinking of maybe organising a cs:s tourney for the teams/players in clans on OCUK, what do you guys think, if all you guys want to do i might do a small 16 team cup or a 32 team cup/leagues, i will also need admins/refs who will monitor the match and report the end score to me. I dont mind mix teams or real clans as long as the mix/clans show up for the game. I will try and organise some sort of prize but cant guarantee anything, i will also need a donation of servers for the matches. Lemme know what you guys think of this and ill sort it out asap.

well it would be the first 32 teams/clans that reply here, talk to ure clan members to get a team of 5 or 6 or 7 or however many and 1 person from the team post here with that name of everyone from the team that will play and i will record it. and i will go through everything else after i get 32 teams. and btw theres already 1 team - MINE! lol
 
Though it's a good enough idea, it seems a lot of these kind of things get a lot of thought and interest to begin with, and then interest slowly dies off after a few matches, or it gets rushed into far too quickly.
 
I would definitely be interested. I've not been able to play over the last week due to uni work grr, but that's all ending mid next week yaaay. I don't mind reffing etc either if needed, but would prefer to play.
 
yeah, they tend not to get properly layed out and notice given at the last moment, ie that day.
 
what about a world cup type thing, where the top 4 from each heat go thru to the next round, then have knockouts? I'd be up for it as long as I know the dates in advance. :)
 
yeh i could do a world cup thing, im pretty organised with these things and ofc i would put the dates and times in advance, with each team i would need 1 contact detail i.e xfire or email in which i could tell them the dates of the matches in a calender type thing which id send out to every team, so plz enter your teams now
 
We've already had a 1v1 css tourney on here, which as DaveyD said slowly died off before it finished

Can't say I envy you trying to run a tourney for full 5 man teams :P
