Hi there

I know this isn’t really the section for this and it could go in the customer service section but I have put it here for two reasons – firstly because others can see further positive rep for overclockers and secondly its not a complaint or query (but if mods want to move it then please do)

I ordered my parts about a month ago and all went through with no problems, delivered as expected and I couldn’t believe the amount of packaging that was in the box to protect all the parts. I also had a problem which contacting OC through the website was nothing but 100% service - Suggested ways to resolve the problem but it couldn’t be in the end, RMA my item – I posted it back Saturday, OCUK received it Monday and by 8:15 am on Tuesday I had the replacement parts!!! I did not expect it to be that quick at all. I cannot fault OCUK in anyway and can only offer highest praise and say that I will definitely be using you guys in the future and would recommend to anyone. So thanks again and keep up the good work.

Greboth.

Unfortunately there always seem to be a few people who have bad experience with customer services of this company or that company. When looking at reviews tend to be able find the bad ones easier than the good so I just thought I would put a good one out there :)

Sorry to hear about your problems though, hopefully they can be resolved.

With all companies there are issues. Every online store forum I know of has regular complaints and issues posted. This is due to that 1 in a few hundred orders that may not go as smoothly as desired. This then gets reported and the public can then view this. The other hundreds of customers do not come out of their way to report fantastic service, why should they when ideally it is to be expected? To see a positive comment like this is a welcome change and is appreciated.

The rare unfortunate event such as your own cannot in cases be helped. Commenting with negitivity isn't all too welcoming for members browsing the forums with the possible result to purchase for the first time. Any negitive feedback is welcomed I am sure by ocuk as this can help to prevent such experiences from happening again in the future.

Thanks

Andy

I have only ever had positive experiences with OCuk. Granted their delivery companies haven't helped them at times but my OCUk orders have always been processed efficiently and if I've ever needed to change the order or make certain requests they have always been very obliging.

There's a customer service section on the forum for issues that aren't resolved, otherwise the FAQ clearly states this:

No anti-OcUK posts
OcUK will never allow these forums to be used by those who would seek to tarnish our name, no matter how justified they feel their circumstances are. Posts of an offending nature slagging off OcUK, demoralising or demeaning the company name, complaints about bad service, etc. will not be tolerated.

I agree I bought a graphics card off OC and it turned out to be faulty so I rma'ed it with no problems and get a replacement fast . This also turned out to be faulty which they also accepted back and issued me with a full refund in a timely manor.

All this was a few years ago when the hate against OC was in full swing. I have spent hundress of pounds over the years and never had bad service :) and have defended OC in threads in other forums.

the only suggestion i will make to ocuk is that when you place an order and somethings not in stock, instead of placing it in a queue in the warehouse and not letting the customer know, they could send an email stating the part which is out of stock and let the customer decide whether to choose something else, remove that item to get the rest shipped or whatever.that way you don't take time off work to receive it and nothing turns up.other than that i have had good experiences with ocuk

Same as above, that's the only annoying thing OCUK have ever done to me. So maybe getting an automated email system set up would be a good idea.

easy enough.instead of just leaving it in the queue and us waiting for our booty to arrive and then it does'nt(it makes you cry you know).just email and give us the chance to change something orwait.then we know when it's arriving.but as i said other than that i'm very pleased with my dealings with them

Hmmm, while I think of it, I've had orders held up before because of "security validation" which has required me to (A) notice the order isn't being processed smoothly and (B) Phone up to resolve the situation.

An automated email or text message system highlighting the problem would go a long way to reducing the impact of this hold up.

Sorry for hijacking the thread, but I got a quick question for you NathWraith while you are here :p

One thing I noticed is that OcUK doesn't do a Phenom II X4 955BE overclocked bundle or pre-build system using a 8xx chipset board with USB3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s (the current range are using a 760G chipset board...), was wondering would it be something OcUK would consider doing in the future? Just a suggestion ;)

re:

Been using overclockers for years and spent many thousands of pounds here, had only one bad experience in all that time but was very dissapointed:(
I am not a person to cut off my nose to spite my face though and still continue to use them as there is nothing better.
Cheers

I have been using overclockers for years and I have never had a problem, fast at answering queries and sending items out. The only change I would like is if I ordered say 5 items and 1 of the items was out of stock, in the past I have had to wait in the for all 5 items to be instock. It would be better if they sent out the 4 items together and then sent the other item when it is back in stock, that would be ace. (I know it means extract manpower and probably cost of postage and the risk of unfaithful customers trying it on says they haven't recieved the item when they have)

But overall excellent service :)
