Where does it start and end? I have to try that before I move out - my poor custom built bike has survived various break-ins and that's the most punishment it's ever seen!

I assume you mean Ashton Court next to Leigh Woods?

/Sorry for OT

Yep :)

From the suspension bridge, follow the road passed leigh woods until you see the archway into Ashton Court.

As you enter, the trail should be almost immediately on your right - when you are on it it'll be signposted by yellow dots :)

However, there is one bit which would be impossible to figure out without guidance... basically, when it looked like you could cross a main road, do it (you'll have to cycle on the road for a bit), then go up the tarmac path passed what looks like a farm and down the hill... eventually you will see the next yellow dot :)

Happy riding :D

Thanks again for bringing this to my attention.
As I'm sure you can appreciate, both organising and unfortunately having to reschedule an event of this nature and size is no small task so apologies if it has taken any of the team more time than usual to respond.
As I mention, it was no light decision to reschedule and a lot of thought and effect went into exploring every eventuality to see that the event did go ahead as planned. Unfortunately, We had to take the decision to change the date, to ensure both the level of event experience our participants expect, and also the health, safety and enjoyment of all concerned.
My apologies if this has inconvenienced your plans. Rest assured we made every effort to make this happen.
I'll ensure one of the team contacts you tomorrow to resolve your entry.

Many thanks
Chris

His "cell" is still unrecognised though...

I've just checked the address details in the WHOIS. There's no such area as RH24, but it seems to be a typo. RG24 9RJ is a real postcode.

Update!

What a surprise, nobody from his "team" () contacted me yesterday, so I followed his email up.

Dear Chris,

Further to my email I'm sorry to say than nobody from your "team" contacted me yesterday at any point. Which is a shame considering Cycling Weekly got back to me far quicker about this situation.

I do hope that I'm not going to have to contact my bank or TS.

Regards,

Russell

...and then within 10 minutes...

You´re refund has been issued. Please let me know if you have not received it in the next 5 working days.
Thanks
Chris

Funny that as soon as you mention any kind of media or authority people decide to get off their arse. I've still contacted Cycling Weekly as they advertised the event so hopefully they can inform other readers through the magazine/if they get contacted about it.

Anyway, thanks all :).
