** OCUK EXCLUSIVE - AK RACING & AROZZI GAMING CHAIRS **

Hi guys

I have just had confirmation from our shipping forwarder that the chairs haven't managed to clear port in time so we will not be getting them today.

The good news is that it isnt much longer to wait and they will be with us any day now.

Apologies for this small delay, it was really out of our control but hopefully it will be resolved soon.

still waiting for them to clear port. we have provided the forwarder with all of the documents requested of us so its a waiting game now sadly.

if it clears in time today, the delivery will be next day into us.

As I say, its out of our hands now, we have done everything we need to our side, so its in the hands of the port.

shipping delays happen at port, perhaps we have been optimistic.

I totally appreciate that delays aren't ideal. As I have mentioned, all commercial invoices and paperwork have been provided to the port. Sadly these things sometimes take longer than 24 hours and the weekend being in the middle of it hasn't helped.

We are at the limit of what we can do to accelerate this process and I am waiting to hear back from my shipping forwarder who is doing everything he can to help on this matter, so it is far from the case of us 'taking this' from them.

I can appreciate the frustration here, but I can assure you that we are doing everything in our power to get this process sped up.

ok so my shipping forwarder has told me about the problem he is having. something to do with the shipping paperwork from the sender. it only applies to one of the containers though but it is holding both up. This is what is causing the delay.

He has given me a conservative ETA but to be on the safe side, I am making a public ETA of Thursday.

as i say, its understandable.

we are doing what we can and its just as frustrating for me telling you guys its gonna happen then getting customs playing silly buggers.

:D

I'm fairly convinced that this isn't the complete order though.

Only one container has landed so far as we dont have the loading capacity for two full shipping containers to land at once.

So I am fairly certain that we will be seeing the second half before the end of the week.

look how happy I am :p

Good news guys

I have made sure that every single back order has been cleared just now.

If you have ordered your AK Racing chair, expect it tomorrow or on Saturday for those who chose weekend delivery.

Some lines have been wiped out by back orders, These lines will be replenished over the coming days by the second intake of stock.

rjk, OcUK another negative review - what is going on here where are you with nothing to say?

I'm on business currently out of the country visiting a customer onsite with limited internet.

As soon as I'm back in the office, I will go through the thread and try and resolve any problems

Hi Guys

As TwsT has mentioned already, we have not had a long enough period of time pass currently to have an indication of what to do to proceed with this.

Ultimately, it is our responsibility to do right by you guys, our sample units were perfect, really nice quality, obviously our purchasing decisions were based on that.

the way we will be proceeding from now on is as follows.

1. Customers who are unhappy with their purchases in ANY way, I urge you to take advantage of our 14 day money back guarantee. We offer this to give you the protection on any purchase you make.

2. Any customers who are not happy and want a refund, we will provide this of course without question.

3. We will happily arrange a FOC collection for any chair you wish to return within UK territory.

4. If you want a replacement, we can offer that also.

just go through our usual support channels to arrange.

I have been awake for the majority of the last two days so I am going home to sleep until monday, TwsT will be checking this thread for more feedback and we will be compiling all feedback to forward to our suppliers.

The return rate currently is very small so we will need a few days to really assess what models have issues.

Hi Guys

I have had official feedback from AK Racing.

Firstly, let me apologise on behalf of Overclockers UK and the Caseking group to anyone who has had issues with their purchase. We are hardware enthusiasts who understand the frustration of getting a product that doesn't meet expectation.

Given the timeframe, we are still gathering feedback to assess a default rate on these products. Early reports are quite limited and we are sadly only able to act upon actual RMA requests.

As I have previously mentioned, if you have a chair that you have not yet raised a ticket over, it is imperative that you act upon this as soon as possible.

We are working closely with our suppliers and AK Racing to rectify each issue but cannot assist people who are yet to contact us.

Our suppliers are taking strong action against any problems. They are in talks internally to assess batch issues and take measures to ensure that any oversights will not happen in future.

Overclockers UK and Caseking are starting a process of stock evaluation to inspect each of these chairs for faults.

We are in the process of talking to our suppliers and trying to find solutions for all of this.

Akracing has now set up a contact form for customers who are in need of support.
but for the time being, I urge all Overclockers UK customers to only deal with Overclockers UK for any support issues.

There is also an assembly instruction available that describe in detail the assembly of the chairs.

There is also a similar thing for Arozzi

I will of course keep you updated on any developments on this matter.

Ulti-Resis

With the greatest of respect, the issues have been noted and forwarded to the supplier and manufacturer. I have highlighted only the starting point of what is happening here.

There has been one report of a gas lift failure. This doesnt raise much concern and is well within a default rate compared to even more expensive hardware lines we list such as graphics cards etc.

There is other things going on behind the scenes that I am not at liberty to disclose publicly yet. So please refrain from jumping to conclusions on the matter until we have some time for resolutions to be put in place.

Hi Guys

Bit of an update from me on what we are doing at OcUK currently.

1. We have an external worker presently checking our stock for damages and missing parts.

2. All stock currently being picked from has been checked and verified.

3. All currently assessed stock not meeting our requirements have been quarantined and removed from our warehouse inventory.

4. No chair is leaving our warehouse without meeting basic internal QC standards.

So far we have only had around 130 units checked so far but completion is expected within the next week-10 days period.

I will mention again - ALL stock being picked by our warehouse team is being assessed before shipping to customers.

Hi Guys

I assembled 4 of these for our stand at Insomnia 52 this weekend.

the plastic side fascias, they dont need to be screwed all the way down. on the cloth seats you can screw them all the way down but if you just tighten them so they are flush with the seat it is usually fine.

on the premium chairs, the padding is much firmer and you can only screw them in a little way before the firm padding gives too much resistance.
