Although I am in it to win. :p

Went 3-2 up yesterday so changed to 5-4-1. :p

Still, scored two great goals after the change and it actually really helped my attack. :)

Hmm I'm not sure at all so don't quote me on this, but you could ask Whappers to replace you with OldHTK? I haven't heard from him in 5 days (He hasn't been on for that long according to PSN) so I'm waiting for him so we can play. It'll be up to Whappers totally though.

Well I can play most week nights from 6pm. It would seem harsh for me to bump someone out of the competition, although if he wants to swap I would be glad to take his place.

Mmm... Ok, I'll give OldHTK until Friday @ 9pm to respond back to your suggestion, otherwise it will be yours. I've even messaged him on PSN and it seems that he hasn't been online in any shape or form for some time so I'm wondering if he is having net trouble or has died! :D We'll wait and see what happens.

Edit: Also, FAO Samba, can we get a bit more active with regards to your match against Edz please!

Whappers - put your foot down and give out a deadline tbh - unfortunately unless you put definite times people will just take all the time in the world otherwise...

Cups been live 10days so I cant see how 1st round matches havent completed and unless people have communicated (like myself and Jonnys match) I cant see why theyll decide to get around to it anytime soon...

By the time Friday comes I suspect the top half of the draw will be completed...

I agree. Having spoken to Edz and Beenom through PSN / forums, it appears Samba and OldHTK have gone AWOL and not replied back to their opponent. So...

Deadline for First Round Matches is Friday 15th May! - Get Moving!
 
Soz mate - been busy with work the last few days and just not had time. Am on PS3 so hopefully today though the net seems laggy as hell tonight...

Proposal: Well the deadline has passed and it has come to the nitty gritty. I can't decide to who to boot out of the Edz / Samba tie as they both appear to have given the same somewhat low level of urgency to the cup. I'm thinking it probably best if I let neither through and let mjer1984 take their spot to play against Jamesbcd in the Second Round as he seems most keen on actually playing (compared to Edz and Samba). For the other First Round tie that was not played, I think there can be no disputing that Beenom deserves to go through into the second round seeing as he has been active in the thread and also OldHTK has gone AWOL. Sorry to those who have got booted out but the deadline was set and the matches were not played and I want to get this cup finished sometime this year so push has come to shove! :p

Question: Does this seem fair or is there a better way of doing this?

Poly and I are playing our 2nd leg tonight, lag or no lag.
