** OCUK FIRST TO MARKET - ANTEC SIGNATURE S10 **

Looks like an American styled fridge freezer and what's with all those drive cages, couldn't your designers find a more elegant solution? You could have hid the ghastly looking hard drives out of sight at the back or had an option to showcase SSD's better at the front for those who are into that.

Seems like wasted space especially if this is aimed at high end market/watercooling.

Here are some more images.

I wish this case had more options to it especially for water cooling, as it reminds me of a more refined styled rv01 which is my favourite case of all time probably

I don't really follow the logic...

If you want to separate the heat from components, you need the two hottest components separate...
- GPU
- CPU

Because they're bound by motherboard layout, the only way to do this is water... or accept the components are together and will be hotter...

Hard drives are obsolete.

PSUs are at the bottom of the case and hot air rises...

I've never really found heat to be a problem...

... just so I'm not completely negative...

I like the door :)

Why do Antec keep insisting on full case-height HDD racks?
If I wanted a server/NAS case then I'd buy one.

It's hard to make a 'premium' build in a case with a ton of plastic junk flapping all over the place. I mean look at where they've been forced to place the reservoir and pump in the promo system.

hmmmm, im not sure, I think this will be one of those cases I will have to see IRL to see if I like it or not.

... in a high end build, is anybody really still using HDDs? If you can afford £400 on a case then im sure you get all your data on SSDs? That front space seems wasted

Sums it up for me too. It's not an ugly case by any means, but it just doesn't make sense for the vast majority of users anymore. Still, a flagship case isn't likely to be a massive seller and Antec should at least receive some kudos for making an effort to do something different.

Ah, so this is the Antec case whose price I could not believe (and apologies if I seemed like a bit of a jerk in that thread). Well now actually looking at the case... it has a lot of cool features and most of all it looks good. The way the two windows open up at the front... cor. But I still stand by my opinion that £400 is too much for a case, even if it is this good. I'd pay £200 for something like this, which is still a premium price to pay for a case.

Not a fan for many reasons, the price included.

Such a big case, yet only a 240mm in the roof and 360mm behind of all the HDD's so you're drawing in warm restricted air, should somebody have so many HDD's (highly doubt in this day and age now).

360mm top and 480mm front should have been easy to do in this case, get rid of all those HDD bays, and have a nice modular SSD bay instead. 240mm in the base looks possible as well to add extra watercooling possiblities as, somebody who is paying £400 for a case will have some high end tech to cool.

Doesn't really fit the bill for the price being asked, not sure why I would buy this case?

Disappointed is an understatment.

It is evident that someone in the Antec Design Team has a fettish for HDDs/SSDS with the cost per MB on ssds coming down and the increaded sizes of HDDs people dont want all this space. A high end case is aimed at the enthaust or modder who can justify the premium. This like the Antec 1900 falls well below par.

I suspect like the Antec 1900 which was looking a £200+ price tag, this case will probably not sell to the masses and be 1/2 the price in under the year.

Antec cases are great build quality and normally a good price point, but as stated above the LACK of watercooling options on such a big case is very poor.

The Obsidian 900D is 10times the case and 3/4 of the price

It's not a bad looking case, the design seems fairly sensible at least; I'm not sure who needs that many HDDs though. Considering the bulk of the case is steel, with a bunch of plastic and either glass or aluminium panels for much the same price I really can't fathom where the £400 asking price is coming from? The fan hub isn't even PWM!
