Alternatively, have a part of the forum that is only viewable by people registered, who state their age as over 18.

I always put my wrong age on nudey sites when I was too young to look at them, didn't do me any harm.

It is because all forums/social networking are considered 'bad' if you are under 18.

It's probably because there are quite a few graphics cards called XXX edition etc. Me and a mate at work tried to read up on a 6800GT XXX edition in the works internet café once and got nowhere at all

It probably just scans for certain key-phrases on the site and then blocks it from there. As was said earlier, an example would the graphics cards with "XXX" in the title.

I never use internet on phones anyway, but I'd guess it's because they ran some kind of search and there happened to be a few inappropriate words present.
