Received a friends request earlier on but it tells me absolutely nothing about the person or why they've requested it? Is this how it normally happens? No idea why I've been emailed, someone's account been hacked?

Yes, it's normal that you'll receive a friend request without anything else in the way of information, it isn't like Facebook where there is a space to send a message with the request. If the person wanted to they could, of course, send you a message via Trust to let you know why they've added you as a friend though - normally I'd expect it wouldn't be a complete surprise to be added due to previous interactions with the person but maybe some people do just add others randomly.

I got 1 a few weeks ago to, wonder what on earth it was. Turned out to be a fellow bradford bulls fan, and we are now friends on facebook and talk everyday about all things Bradford bulls.
