It was a tough choice for me between BFBC and WOW but I choose BFBC because it looks and plays great. WOW is in the same league but since I'm not at a level to see all new content then I cannot fully judge.

Touchy much? Defensive because you thought I didnt like your choice of games?....

As m0r94n pointed out, was merely over your choice of words (as highlighted in my own post), was imagining a comentator announcing a winner of a competition "And the winner with an overwhelming majority is A!!!, and second who only lost out by the narrowist of narrow margins is B!"

And on topic after that. Found this year quite poor in all honesty, most of the games ive bought have come with an air of dissapointment. Dont think a single game has lived up to the excitement/hype built up around it pre-release.

I really enjoyed Mafia 2 but it was too short, broken in places and the bugs killed half the atmostphere.

AVP just seemed a bit empty, didnt have the fear factor or any of the atmosphere that made the previous games (excluding the expansions for the second as they were turd) so great.

I liked MW2 and Bl-Ops but they were basically explosion/gun simulators with no meat to them, the single players were just training for the MP and the MP was nothing more than a nice jump on and have a quick blast before doing something else, ruined also by who could hack/tube/camp the most in order to not look like the wors player.

Just cause 2 is a great blast when you just want to run around causing chaos, but thats as far as it goes. Its fun but by no means an exceptional game.

Quit WoW early this year so cant really comment on Cataclysm but its getting mixed reviews so far. Early days for it though but im done with that.

F1 was good to begin with but the bugs killed off the feeling of involvment in the races, just got bored of it after the first season. It was a great game though and may return to give Mp another bash.

Not played Bioshock 2 (still to finnish the first), ME2 (on the first, lacking the want to play it, all a bit meh at the mo, will plod on a bit n see if it picks up) or AC2 (1st was a bit pap).

Rest ive yet to play or dont wish too (not fussed on strategies). Nothing stand out this year for me, some good games, some fun yet flawed games and quite a lot of let downs. Bring on 2011 - Witcher 2 and Deus Ex, im looking at you...

Pretty decent year for me as far as PC gaming goes?

Out of those, I'd go for Bad Company 2. Multiplayer is bloody brilliant, looking forward to getting the Vietnam expansion soon.

Next on that list would be Just Cause 2, very under rated title. It was great to just play a game that focused on fun!

I did buy Stalker COP, but I never played past the first few hours. Seems like another great game though waiting for me!

That list should really have Minecraft on though. Not a finished game, but the Alpha release was/is amazing! I've lost so many hours to it!
 
SC2 in my books. You don't even need to play the game to enjoy it. Watching live streams and Huskys youtube videos is win in itself.
 
Great to see BC2 doing so well here. For me it's the perfect blend of insane FPS action, super stealthy tactical strategy and to top it off teamwork is an absolute MUST if you're going to do well and rank up. This is something BO/MoH etc all lack. You can just play for yourself and rank up so quickly. I've been playing BC2 regularly since launch and I'm still only on L38! That's one tough SOAB to rank up... which is a good thing! Keeps you playing. Graphics are just stunning, landscapes are immense, atmosphere is right up there, the thrill of your whole team pushing up in choppers, tanks, jeeps and on foot all at once is unsurpassed. The weapons handle realistically, the players move properly and NO PRONE ***!

Outstanding game in all aspects!
