I refuse to believe the prices of the rtx 3070 and 3070ti are correct on the OCUK website because if they are OCUK should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

With an rrp of £529 for the fe surely the AIB cards should not be priced at more than £650 - £700 for the reference models

This has how its been for ages now mate, it's not just ocuk its everywhere... Prices vary wildly and all are way above MSRP.
Great :/ I did wonder why there were so many rtx 3070 cards in stock. Its because knowone in their right mind would pay over £900 for a card with an rrp of £469.

Typical I finally get a bit of money to build a gaming rig and the prices are like this. I guess I'm stuck playing series x

Belive what you want nowhere is selling cards at RRP. I'd be surprised if retailers can even buy them in at RRP.
I never expected to find one at rrp even before the shortage that never happened but I did not expect to find them at over double the price that is just insane and anti consumer

Cheers guys just installed the app and added the group. Fingers crossed I manage to snag one on the next drop.

Any idea when the next drop is due?

That's perfect thank you I will hold out some hope that I cam grab one on one of drops, I have a budget of £650 and really can't afford the scaper surcharge that all these companies keep adding

I don't know where people get the idea that Nvidia RRP applies to AIB cards. It is exclusive to founders editions.
I completely agree and even stated that before the chip shortage msrp never existed which is why my budget is £650 and not £529 but the current pricing is just an absolute joke and companies like OCUK inflating their prices like they have is disgusting in my honest opinion.

U get scalpers will do it as there is no stopping those sick losers

To be fair I have been out of the gaming pc scene for about 8 months and only just jumped back in. Wish I hadn't now but too late as I have already grabbed a case motherboard psu and ssd :/

I've got about 10 different store pages open on my browser that I keep checking and OCUK by far have the highest mark up on cards compared to anyone else, I mean their prices are at scalper level in some instances

I wouldn't say most it is a select few and I don't have it for ocuk I've been a customer for almost 20 years but I will happily call out what I think is wrong if knoqone did it would never change

Most companies tend to use the same distributors and will likely be charged the same and ocuk being as big as it is will likely get the better deal with bulk buying so when a much smaller retailer is selling the same card for £200 less that is hard to justify

Exactly my point, I am not hating on OCUK but thier prices are awfully suspect when compared to other retailers. Just because you can get more stock than others does not mean you can charge a premium like that that is called scalping

£949.99 for the RTX3070 palit gaming pro LHR card (10+ in stock)
£899.99 for the RTX3070 tuf LHR (10+ in stock)

I'm sorry but really they are not even TI

If you think that those retailers selling for £200 less are not scalper pricing you might be a bit lost.
Oh I agree every retailer is jumping on the bandwagon it's typical demand and supply and I do not expect to pay msrp like I did years ago now in this current climate but what I don't like is pricing that is so outrageous that it needs calling out

Fact is if no one purchased at these prices they would have to drop, the problem is as much people paying the ridiculously inflated prices as it is the retailers charging them. Of course the elephant in the room is the return on a card vs its #rate (although some effort has been made to break this relationship with LHR cards).
Well it appears knowone is buying these rtx3070's as they have a lot of stock left and have done for the past week and the scary thing is these are both LHR cards so you would have thought they would be cheaper

I get that but £998 for an rtx 3070 LHR non ti that is in line with ebay scalped 3070ti pricing.

It just infuriates me as there are people including myself who would gladly buy one of these cards if they were priced reasonably

All these retailers claim to want to get these cards in the hands of genuine gamers yet mid range gpu's are priced so high that genuine gamers can't afford them

Exactly Minstadave .Every gamer is after a new graphic card for Christmas
Well I really hope people are not that stupid and they vote with thier wallets because I personally think those prices are insulting to gamers across the UK and by looking at the still present stock compared to every other retailer people are

Come on now ocuk bumping the rtx 3070ti strix from £1099.99 to 1199.99 overnight and listing the tuf at £1099.99 instead. That's Just urinating on us without the curtesy of calling it rain.

Please do not argue that its the original cost being passed on because you had over 10 stock yesterday.

It's just pure greed and outright scalping practices now
