Hey guys! just wondering which i should buy as im buying a new system next month! The: OcUK H²Flo Liquid Single Fan CPU Cooler
Or the: OcUK H²Flo Extreme Liquid Dual Fan CPU Cooler

Is there much difference between the two? The cpu will be a: Intel Core i7-2700K 3.50GHz overclocked to 4.2GHZ
:)

If your only aiming for 4.2ghz then the regular h2Flo will do.

Main difference is that the extreme has a thicker rad, possibly a quieter pump, iirc the regular h2flo/H60 runs full speed at 4000rpm while the extreme/H80 runs at around half that.

Is space an issue with your build? as for that overclock you'd be as well saving your wallet and your ears and get something like the Corsair A50.

No space issues :) Its a bitfenix colossus! Im limited to those two pumps as im buying the system from OCUK :P

Give them a call or ask in CS before you buy, they will let you change out components for ones of your choice, the price will also change :)

I have the H2flow extreme in my system running a 4.6 overclock - under 100% (Prime 95) load i get up to about 54 degrees across the cores. Gaming I get mid to low 40's from memory.

My only gripe was the fan noise. I'm really pleased I swapped out the stock fans for something quieter!

Question about this:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HS-002-OP&tool=3

is this the same cooler is a h80? ... meaning does it have the 3 settings silent med and high and what is the warrenty on it? ... I have a h80 atm but the controller mechanism does not work and I dont think I can rma it (since I bought it from a private seller). So looking to replace it with perhaps this if its the same and use my current fans.
