I have been advised I *should* get sent the EVGA FTW next Friday, but am undecided as to whether or not to jump ship and go for an MSI, but this brand-loyalty guilt I have tells me I should give it another week for the EVGA.

Really is a complete shambles. If another top manufacturer could put out a card with a generic color scheme (not msi red), solid build quality, decent clocks with some extras and a backplate that doesn't look ridiculous (zotac), I'd of switched weeks ago. Still tempted by a super jetstream.

I rang earlier to check about ordering an FTW, told me that would make me 73 in the queue, given 50 arriving monday, looks like you'd be in the next batch!

i'm just trying to decide between that an a super jetstream!
 
I just noticed the Zotac Amp Extreme 1080 was actually in stock :)

I previously owned the Zotac 980TI Amp Extreme and that was a brilliant card, so I just changed my order for that instead. Will receive this tomorrow, happy days :)

Really niggly little thing, is the 'Push The Limit' logo on the backplate removeable? Its just a bit 'bling' for my liking. Not earth shattering, just curious. I have seen photos where its not on the backplate so maybe it is.

Just traded my OC strix and 140th place in the queue for the regular strix. I also had difficulty with the amazon payments for whatever reason, like some people here. So I just called them up, cancelled the order and paid with my card instead. It's arriving monday, so the wait will finally be over. I don't see the OC strix coming any time soon.
 
Beginning to consider axing my OC strix order, getting a refund and just waiting it out to save a few hundred quid on top of selling my 980ti to get a Titan X.

Ridiculous experience this has been after ordering and paying on the 27th of May. I know its not OC fault but this being my first experience with them I have to say its soured it a bit too.

It must have been a blue week, I too am seriously considering switching my STRIX OC order, even though i am 12th in the queue.

Is there anyone out there with an ASUS unicorn that can tell me if it is worth waiting for?

Also, if i was to switch it would probably be for an MSI X, anyone got any real awesome / terrible experiences with it?

Sooooooo fed up with ASUS. Been wanting to play the new Doom for freakin ages but don't think my 670 will be man enough!

670 won't be at 1080p with the candy on. My clocked 780 is about the minimum for mostly 60fps.

I would refer those peeps still waiting for the Strix oc to the evga 780ti kingpin pre order thread of which I was an unfortunate member of i.e. When there is radio silence There is no guarantee you will get a card even if you wait it out.

I called around lunchtime and they still hadn't turned up, there was apparently a pallet from Asus that hadnt been unpacked but CS couldnt tell me any more than that. Wooly i know but it's all i've got.

Personally i'm going to call again mid afternoon Saturday, if the mythic 33 are still missing i'm going to cut my losses and take whatever they can ship me.
