Actually this is a good excuse to buy a camera side bag, crumpler shopping time!

Now as I'm travelling from North Notts someone spec me somewhere to stay as I want a beer so driving down can fo.
 
I really do want a Crumpler one though having seen the latest digirev video putting bags under stress test!

 
I had a Crumpler sidebag until I dropped it in a lake like a numpty, unfortunately it contained my old D90 and 4 lenses at the time....doh.

I've had a backpack ever since.

I wouldn't recommend it, especially with the gear you pack. :D

Now I've just been looking at trains, £44.00 return if I book sharpish going into Kings Cross.

I presume I'll just be able to tube it out to where ever we decide to meet from there?

Aye, normally if there are a few of us from oop north we will meet at King cross before heading out on the tube.
 
Looking at megatrain.com I can leave Portsmouth Harbour early in the morning but the times for decent departure are as follows:

So £16.50 all in, the departure is rather early, means I'll be wandering around for a couple of hours!

Alternatively I could use my train travel discount from work and get the same price via SWT and jump on a train for wherever in London I guess and not have to pick specific times. I'll find out on Tuesday!

Where are most people arriving at train station wise? Waterloo?
 
Doubt I can attend this one as I can't make plans that far ahead due to not knowing the extent of my many time sensitive deadlines I have from next week onwards -.- Shame really as I wanted to get some tips on doing some cityscape stuff.
 
I will have to see what the train prices are first before I commit myself, But looks like fun depends on workawork also.

Damm it would have been well up for this if I didn't have plans late afternoon/evening.

Robbie you could have saved me a seat aswell as I would have jumped on at Havant :p
 
I've never shown up to a OCUK meet before so I'll be here.
Been to a few TP ones though a while ago.

Beware of tube closures at the weekends. If we are sticking to safe areas like south bank, etc should be straightforward.
