Hey guys,

EDIT: Let's make this fixed at 14th July, can a mod change the title to ****OcUK Manchester Meet 14th July 2013**** please?


it's been about two THREE years since we've had an MM (well, manchester/saddleworth moors)...anyone interested in having another? We used to get a good turnout so i can't see why we wouldn't again?

Cymatty is the king of organising these, though he's not as local anymore so he might not be too interested this time round....I've never organised a meet but willling to give it a go. What about mid July? say 14th July?

Thoughts from regulars especially welcomed :)

Meet time/date: 14th July 2013, 11:00am
Meet location: Birch Services, between junction 18 and 19 of the m62. Eastbound carriageway. OL10 2HQ

Itinery:
1100 Meet and chat
1120 Leave services and head to junction 21 of the m62, yorkshire moors. Drive to pub in Rishworth
1200 Pub. A few contenders, malt house or turnpike inn? Turnpike USED to be terrible but by all accounts is massively better these days, definitely new owners and refurbished etc, possibly on the pricey side and their website is down so can't check.

1300-1330: continue rest of route over a640, stopping for photos at the carpark pictured above, making our way to the junction inn in Denshaw, from there passenger rides for those who want.

As for the date, 14th July seems good as its not an F1 weekend.

A weekend after 6/7th I'd be interested in. Was thinking about a northern meet earlier as I've not seen one in Motors for a while. Would be good to organise track day or two as well in the future as they're always down south.
 
lol....have you ever been to a meet pepsilol? Iirc i was the first ocuker you'd met?

I've started a list, let me know your car when you put down if you're coming too :) I've put you as a definite shaun is that right?
 
Ill be coming in either my VW T4 Transporter/Camper or Landy Defender90 which are my 2 current cars.
