OcUK members on other forums

Spotted McDaniel a few times, Nismo, Rotty and Goatboy (if he is dan1979 like he was on here) on AVForums.....Pyscho Ned too.....One or two others ;)
 
not different forums but when auntie von (von smaullhousen) adds me to msn and starts going, is your dads name *****, err yeah, and he lives in ****** er yer, you crazy stalker von, von replies, no i used to work with him

Long history if its the site I'm thinking of (right number of characters). Spie would be able to give you an accurate view from his perspective of what occurred but essentially the impression those of us around at the time got was that it involved a fair bit of back stabbing and such like, either percieved or real (impossible to tell for those not directly involved).
 
More the other way round for me - I've spotted people I originally knew from other forums on OcUK, e.g. Durzel from Barrysworld.

Then there's a few I know from Quakeworld like Telescopi, Mana (AKA Term), 9zap, str, Lucifurr etc - they very well may have been on some forums I used to frequent like Barrys and Wireplay.

I know there are quite a few people here who frequent SA, although I haven't really been there much since they started charging.

This is one of my newer forums and pretty much the only one I visit with any kind of regularity.

The name Freefaller hasn't really spread to any other forums bar this one :p

Though I do frequent a couple of others with all sorts of different names (that I usually forget).
 
More round the other way for me, when I first came here I was new to discussion forums. I'd only ever used motoring forums before that and it was funny to see a couple of those crusties lingering in here.

Was it me on the he Polo forum? I had about 8k posts on one so you never know. What was your username on there?
 
I used to use the PC Gamer forums back in the day and recognise a few people off of there (Mrk for example).

I actually got recgonised by a girlfriends friend, who saw my MSN name and asked her if I used web forums!

I am a new user here at OcUK.
I started surfing in English spoken forums almost 2 years ago from PcPer, OCAU, XtremeSystems etc... :)
 
Couple of people on Tranceaddict (usually see us all milling about any trance thread in Music & Box Office)
