I tried this through customer service, but haven't had a response over the weekend (and I've been busy over the weekend so there's not been time to drop them a phone call) - So maybe the GH forum can just give me some advice as to what is going wrong or what my next course of action should be.
The PC is working in the sense that I hear it power up, I hear the beeping and I even hear the Disk Drive "start up" when I put a disk in. However, I've had nothing on the monitor, not a bios screen, not even a flicker of anything. I've tried changing the cable I'm using (both power and the Blue Monitor one), I've tried it on an old school PC monitor, my normal Samsung LCD/HD one as well as the Sony Bravia we have in the Living Room, and nothing has happened. I have also tried another PC on all 3 of those monitors and that PC has no problems with displaying. So the problem is with the PC.
Is this a simple case of it's been built improperly and something that someone with no previous building experience (other than simple things like replacing a hard drive, replacing SATA cables and the like) can fix, without a huge risk of invalidating the warranty (I would like to have a little look, but losing the warranty is not something I would be too happy with).
It's the Titan Pyro, which I'm not sure bears too much relevance with the general problem, but if it does, I've chucked that in there. I won't be able to access the PC for another week - But I would like a working solution for when I can get back to my family home (from University) because my PC here is on the blink and I need it pretty much as soon as I get back.
I hope that I can get some help from in here, I'm a little frustrated with the lack of customer service from OcUK - But I know the forums are a huge source of help, so there'll be no hard feelings to their CS if I get a solution in here.
