Is the cpu fan connected to the motherboard header, as the fan speed in the snap shot above did not show any speed increase, have a look around the BIOS to see if there are any options to change, you may have it set to quiet mode.
The cpu fan is connected to the 4 pin header right next to the cpu socket, on the motherboard. The only stuff in the bios fan related is smart fan, (disabled) which is apparently only used to slow the fan down, disabling it allows the fan to run at full speed.
Wondering, if it's my system that cant cope with the heat, can someone spec me better cooling for my antec 1200 to fix this problem?, ill go ahead and purchase this weekend!!. (I dont trust myself with watercooling, though - not really the diy guy.)
