OcUK packaging for laptop drives ?

Hi

can you advise on what the packaging for OcUK laptop drives is like ?

as in - will it be sent i none of those carcboard boxes with
a foam type sandwich for safety ?

not for eating . . obviously

My last one came in the normal static bag then wrapped in a pile of big bubble wrap. The non-operating shock rating of modern HDDs is pretty impressive so I wouldn't be too worried.

Indeed. My Seagate is rated up to 350G of shock.

Can't remember exactly but I think my Western Digital 320GB 7200rpm 2.5" drive came in bubble wrap inside a padded envelope.

Mine was wrapped in bubble wrap and the hard disc it's self was in a anti static bag.
