OcUK packaging

I reckon the main reason it's in a bag, rather than a box is cost. My parents use FedEx a lot (self employed, sending probably atleast a parcel a day on average), and if you can get the delivery (whatever it might be) into one of their delivery bags it works out a reasonable amount cheaper than it would do otherwise, just because it's their bag. I don't know for sure that DPD is the same, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I wouldnt of opened it and just returned it to be honest.

Sounds harsh yes, but £600 worth of kit should come in a cardboard box with air packaging/bubble wrap. Im also speaking on experience when OCuk sent me 2 HD's like that and 1 was DOA.

I wouldn't be too happy with my delicate items arriving like that.

When I'd made deliveries from other e-tailers, I'd always been supplied my items inside another box with big bubble wrap things/or padded paper shreds etc to keep things safe inside.

Having said that, I ordered a set of speakers recently from the company with the name opposite to 'Eseller' and the item was sent in a clear UNSEALED sack so everyone could see my item. I was a little surprised to see it arrive without any light fingers people taking a fancy to it, and without any damage.
