A nice idea but it feels a little messy. A little more definition maybe using a single light trail may have helped.

I cant really connect it to the theme, there is some stray light top left that could have been easily edited out.

There is no stray light to edit or delete. Its supposed to be 'cosmic' ie light, atmosphere of a planet on the left, nebula at the top etc. Cosmic is generally light by definition.

Single light trail? ...where's the fun in that?

Not disappointed in the scores as I was expecting last tbh, just dismayed at the judges lack of vision!

I could start doing this with Photoshop and my stuff but its not my style of photography. Cool for the guys doing it but feel that's the way the competition is going of late

I have to say that the fact that the image is out of focus ruins it for me. I can't score this particularly highly in any of the categories because of this, really.

Annoyingly, this is rather out of focus. A tripod may help.
