OcUK Poker Thread.

oh finished 19th on the Pokerstars SNG leaderboard last week for ..................... $50

Hardly worth the effort is it. I need another 100 FPP to get my bonus of $50 but for the stakes I play that'll last about half an hour with play like that.

Is it any wonder I can't win at this game when bs like that happens?

don't think so

They do jackpot SNG's on there:

Win (consecutively)5 x 9-player $5 SNG's and get $5,000, place top 2 and get $200

Win 6 x $20 6-player SNG's and win $15,000, place top 2 and get $300

Win 6 x $50 6-player SNG's and win $50,000, place top 2 and get $500.

Jackpot goes up every week until it's won. $50 one was $130,000 at one time

If you're interested :)

AQ made it 3x BB, flop K-10-7, turn J, river 9, won a nice $29 pot.

el dazza... OMG

I think thats only the 3rd time I've ever seen that online.

Once I had 10-10, put a short stack all in with another caller, flop was 993 so I bet the other guy out, short stack shows 9-9.. turn 10, river 10. Chaos ensued in the chat box. :D:eek:

LMAO: what a berk..

Possibly the biggest blunder of the day belonged to Leroy Soesman, who showed up to play only to discover he had registered for Day 1a, not Day 1d. Soesman was left scrambling with some staff members to see if his stack made it through his correct day of play without being blinded off. Theoretically Soesman would have had enough big blinds in his starting stack to survive the first day of play.

Down to 230 in the WSOP - lots of big names left in:

Phil Ivey, David Benyamine, Peter Eastgate, Joe Hachem, Bertrand Grospellier (ElkY), Jordon Morgan, Kenny Tran, Dennis Phillips, Michael Greco (was in Eastenders wasnt he? cashed 3rd in the $1,500NL event for $300k!!)

Entered a $5+0.50 MTT on Stars, 1263 entrants but only ante's increase and they started at $10, blinds stay at $5/$5 for the whole tourny.

45 left, i'm 16th on 60.3k with antes at $700. Goes down quite quickly actually, lots in the pot preflop! Wish me luck! :D
