I was watching some poker to TV yesterday, and at one point two players went all in. But the dealer drew the table cards twice. What's that all about?

It would be a cash game, players can agree to run remaining cards 2 or more times and split the pot accordingly, this reduces variance

bearing in mind I had been the orig pre flop raiser there was a fair chance I have an Ace so he is quite possibly re rasing me for a chance of splitting the pot, flat calling would give same result without as much risk

Played by first couple of tournaments last night was a lot more enjoyable that just playing at a random table, really liked it.

Just low value games though, one was a bit odd with the top 5 sharing the same prize, another I came first and won a huge $11.70

I'm going to do a little experiment and see how much I can make $3 grow, gonna play short stack, 6 player tables, push all in with premium hand to start with, then play some aggressive poker as short stack on a $5 buy in, $10 buyin, $30 buyin - so on.
