(I did do a quick search in GD for a thread like this but couldn't find one)

Its about that time a year again when the average British citizen gets their dose of American culture with Halloween.

Now back when i was a nipper i was never really a fan of Halloween, but now im a little bit older I have found one thing that I thoroughly enjoy about this festivity.

Pumpkin Carving.

This thread is to post pictures of the pumpkins that you have carved for past Halloween, and to update it with ones from this year (If you are doing one)

Here are a few of mine from last year:

(Comments on pumpkin only please :p )

(Also i have a few more from a few years back but i cant find the pics on my pc .... )

Funny you should post that anti, because it was the first pumpkin that sprung to mind when i was making this thread. I also thought it would be YOU that posted it :p

Mario one took about 1 1/2 hours but i feel that it was worth it.

The pikachu one was a rushed effort and took about 30 mins, which shows in the end result as its pants.

Bloody pumpkins, i would like to see you do that with a rock hard turnip!!!!

Saying that when i was growing up we were so poor we didnt have a turnip, my dad just hollowed out a large potato!

Ok This years pumpkins:

First pumpkin: ET
Took a fair while to do this one, about 2 hours in total. The walls of the pumpkin where very think and required a lot of carving from the inside. Pretty please with the final outcome

What do you guys thinks? Got a few of the GF's pictures to put up later of the ones that she has done this year.

Ok so thats the first one.

And here is my second one MJ Thriller:

Took again about 2 hours, Not as please with this one as my first, but still looks pretty good.

just templates - you can get em from any supermarket

you wont find the templates i used in a supermarket MR.

Online maybe, but supermarket no.

The difference between what i do and what most people do is that i don't cut out the pattern fully, I chip away and "shade" to get a better glow effect.
