** OCUK Rolling Road 11 - Saturday March 19th 2011 - Eurospec, Guildford - Pictures, graphs, discussion thread **

Hi folks,

Here are the pics from today's rolling road session at Eurospec in Guildford. Epic turnout, epic weather, epic chat and banter, epic day overall!

As usual, if anyone wants higher res versions, send me an email or something with the filenames. They're in order of shooting I'm afraid, so the photos of the cars on the rollers are all over the place ;)

Gaijin, yes I got photos of your car you big drama queen  and yes, that's an Accord Type-R with a bloody great turbo, and a Scoob with an even bigger bloody great turbo :D

I wasn't given electronic versions of the power graphs I'm afraid, so you'll need to scan and upload them yourselves if you wish to share.

If anyone could explain the random little loops/anomalies that seem to occur in the graph above, as well as others throughout the day (if they're anything other than the dyno's software having a paddy, that is) then I'd be interested. :D

Not really

You dont really feel like you don't know the people even if you've never met them before as you recognise the forum names etc. It is far easier to just walk up to a bunch of people at an event like this than it would be to do the same in your local, for example.

You get all kinds of people turning up to these meets but you all have something in common - cars. There are some very sociable people and there are people that seem to do nothing but sit in their cars or watch from a distance (and everything inbetween!).

Basically, just come to one and you'll figure it all out.

This.

Anyone who wanted to go to the pub was free to do so and in fact did so, had a nice lunch, then returned to the meet afterwards. The security for the estate was being a bit anal about passwords to let people back in but other than that there were no problems at all with going to the pub really. To be honest, I think that suited better than being one place for the morning and then upping sticks and all 50 odd people going somewhere else.

Quite. I had a good day, I think everyone else had a good day, we tried a new venue and have drawn our own conclusions from this, there isn't a great deal more that needs to be said really. :)

By that logic, and going on what many other people say about the ST220 engines, mine would have nearer 237bhp ;) Hence why I wanna get it on the Powerstation rollers now, for a little comparison :)
