To be fair they just used it as an excuse to sell stuff at their bar IIRC?

It was more a case of "We're not wringing money out of you" rather than "You're being yobbish".
 
It's an anime convention, one of the longest running in the UK.

These days I use it as a once a year opportunity to catch up with old friends I otherwise never see, and get very drunk for 2 nights.

In regards to pizza...

Well we only need 13 cars to run, but I would like to have 13 confirmed with deposits paid cars so we don't end up having to fall under this number and everyone has to pay more than necessary!
 
It's those people needing to prove their cars to certain critics that seem to do the silly driving :p:p

I'm a definate more than maybe but will let you asap, although that asap is likely to be a good week or so away. Might just man up and pay for the hell of it!

I dont have paypal mate, can I not just ring the garage and pay in full on my card over the phone?

If you wish to do so then fair enough. The reason I want deposits is so that if anyone decides to drop out and we fall before the 13 runners number, then we have those failure to show ups moneys to use to compesate for the extra cost - which IMO is only fair as they would have let us down, and be costing us extra.
