I've seen 172s make 170ish.. so I would hope your 182 makes more!

Yea its an absolutely solid car, other than a scrape on the rear wheel arch and a bit of surface rust on the winds its perfect.

I think an engine swap will be more cost effective with the price I paid for the car.

No engine swaps until I've sorted the suspension and done a big brake conversion.

The 182 makes inbetween 170-174bhp stock, and the 172 about 162-165bhp.

A 172 with a 182 manifold and SS exhaust can see 170 easy

Got a bit of a coolant temp issue so I'll be changing the thermostat on my car tomorrow and give it a wash, fingers crossed I can get all the air out of the system afterwards

On the note of cameras.. I don't think I will be able to record all the cars as the battery isn't great.. so is anyone else bringing any decent video cameras?

My dad has a Pann SD9 so I'll try to remember to bring it along.

Will most certainly bring my SLR as I have to try out my new lenses and work out how to use the thing properly. I'll be bugging those with SLRs who know what they are doing

Oh noes. I, er, don't have a clue what I'm doing myself..

I only have a Canon Ixus with reasonably good video recording, sadly.
