OCUK Rolling Road Day 11 @ Eurospec (Guildford) - Sat 19th March 2011

:D

Got a CD43 unit in yours?

If so you probably have a similar changer to me, works with the tape deck but not the CD player. CD43 can have iPod plugged in though and it fakes it as a changer. I'm half tempted to do that, but cost and effort I might as well just spend £100 on an aftermarket one with orange glow.
No idea. The magazine was missing when I bought it, so I got the dealer to order it as part of the sale, but it transpires that the cable's missing.
So I've got a brand new, but useless, magazine.

It's got a Becker Grand Prix fitted, which is awesome, so I bought an iPod, which I lost yesterday
Yeah I got that much, I meant more specifically.. never mind :p
I'll tell you all about it tomorrow :)

That Becker Grand Prix looks horrible. :p

CD43 BMW Business stereo, has a revised changer in the boot which isn't compatible with the ones for my HU.
This is mine, which is also a BMW Business unit, but it can't be connected into the CD43's changer, and you can't connect an iPod into it. You also can't plug the CD43 changer into my changer. So my options are to get the CD43 and plug in the iPod as a changer, or just get something aftermarket like this and plug in the iPod.

Mine came with this. It looks pretty good, certainly not out of place.
It's pretty good TBH - bluetooth, mp3 CDs, iPod connectivity (playlists, track names, etc..)

I've got the radio card from the BMW Business radio though :p

The only annoyance is the CD changer cable has gone AWOL.

Sure Invader you are more than welcome to a passenger ride. I am sure Paul will happily take you out too.

Bad man upsetting the Caterham owner (just messing Shad :D) looking forward to having a nose round your car actually.

I am meeting Paul A on the A3 at 9.30 so probably wont be there till 10ish. Then I will need to thaw out for a while. Paul has a windscreen, sidescreens etc I only have an aeroscreen.

Ah ok, fair enough....is the changer one for that HU though? :p

BMW put in various different changers throughout the e36 3series and z3 range. :/

Again, no idea. I assume so though, seeing as it's stock.

It's just stupid that instead of connecting it to the new HU, they just removed it.
It's probably down the back of the centre console, but I couldn't find it in the autumn when I got it.
