I'm definitely going...hoovered, did my engine bay with autoglym and checked the car over. Just going out to fill up and a quick jet wash.

I'll be at the J16 meeting point by 7am. Looking forward to this :D had to pull out of going to the last one...

running? or speccy?

if your short on numbers mate i'll run, although i think our convoy is turning up a little late....

nice one buddy, as long as we have 7-8 of the runners there early thats cool, ive GOT to have 15 runners, or else ive got a big bill to pay...

riteo...

me and Stoom just did the trip to powerstation...

ONLY PARK INSIDE THE POWERSTATION COMPLEX IF YOU ARE GOING TO RUN YOUR CAR

all those who are not going to run (read spectators) please park your car outside the fenceline (you'll understand when you get there)

to get there...

If heading northbound on the M5 get off at junction 9, taking the 3rd exit of the roundabout (turning effectively right)

If heading southbound on the M5 get off at junction 9 also, but take the first exit on the roundabout (read turn left !)

follow this road past the first set of lights, and then past the BP garage on the right,

after this garage you will see signs saying ASHCHURCH with a speedlimit underneath (believe this to be 30mph) and about 40 yards after a set of lights, turn left at these lights.

go over the mini roundabout and up over the bridge (traffic light controlled also)

when over the bridge you will come to another roundabout, take the 3rd exit (read turn right) and powerstation is on your right !!

The route to the pub after has been decided, and I am doing instructions for a handout as we speak

Does the pub know as many as 50 people could be descending upon them?

nope, as each time we have been i have asked if I can book or something and get told the same each time 'just arrive and we will cope'

the motorway is indeed the easiest route, get off at 11a and then your nearly there... but its down to what people want to do, im happy with whatever route we take :)

lo all,

hope you all enjoyed the day,

ive got a CD with everyones Dyno graph on which im about to upload,

Si, Merlin, Vertigo, and DJBenjo hopefully you are gonna make it home ok, hope that guided tour round the backroads to avoid traffic worked ok...

Just Noticed, all the printouts have reg numbers on, what do people want me to do? everyone ok with me just posting them anyway?

Should have said dude, I'd have taken you for a spin. Bear had a quick passenger ride but I couldnt get out of 2nd gear, too much traffic, only managed to flick round a couple of islands.

The Supra's an animal, shame about the crap rollers.

Gareth - detour was 1st class, appreciated.

no problem mate, after all the problems initially with us continually getting split up in traffic decided id better keep it a bit sensible... would have been nice to have a bit of a play, incidently, i could just about hear your car accelerating still when I got to the other side of that roundabout :D

A girl sat on the hard shoulder looked hurt, the car was clearly packed to the brim too with, they were on or coming back from holiday, kids on board. :(

quite,

main reason I just called 999 instantly is that i felt that the total confusion on the other side of the carridgeway could have meant people just forgot to do it, saw some guy being helped across the carridgeway somewhat keeled over... looked properly nasty :(

incidently, i didnt realise that if you ask for fire, ambulance and police you have to go through 3 operators !

Whose is the GT3 in the car park?

one of the guys at powerstation, had a little chat to him about it, when I asked if it was modded for more umpf he replied with something like 'you dont modify a porsche to get more performance, you do it to make it unique....

from that id take it to be a stock GT3 :)

a lot of traffic on the roads confusing things, it took myself and AcidHell a couple of attempts to find the pub in the end.

Thanks to Conanius for the excelent organisation :)

easy tiger ;)

btw, dam you for randomly arriving at the pub later than the rest, powerstation did my run for a tenner, so I bought a drink for everyone who did a power run who got to the pub with my 20 quid left over, felt a bit bad about not managing to get you, austin or fakesnake a drinkie woo

If you couldnt see us you should have tried listening for us.
thats for sure ;) ever time i checked my mirrors to see vert, si and merlin were behind i just heard this vtec purring which told me they were :D

I think a lot of people went a bit quick on the M5 - if it wasn't for my Satnav I'd probably not have found the pub either as everyone in front of me just left me for dead.

well....

i made progress down the sliproad, looked behind me and no one was there, so slowed to about 50 until people caught up, assumed the rest were in tow so carried on....
