***OcUK Secret Santa 2011 - Discussion!***

Hmm I think I have an idea of what both of mine are now, It just occurred to me that the size and weight/feel of the packages fall in line with 2 items in my wishlist

I haven't bought a single card to go with any of my Christmas presents (including my SS present), never have and it didn't even cross my mind that we might be expected to include a card as well.
It's not expected, just a nice to have thing. I include a card with all my presents. If not a card then at least a little note, even if it's on a post-it note! I guess it's more a female thing....

I don't do cards, across the board so it's not personal. I rather give presents than cards, which is what we are doing anyway :)

My take on card is that they are a wage of money, you read it and the bin. 5 seconds and then worthless. Spend that extra bit on the gift instead is what I say.

Exactly my thoughts too, i dont mind getting them but hate buying them for people.

Doesn't have to cost money. Can be homemade, printed, or as mentioned before, a simple note/post-it to say Happy Christmas etc :)

The sheer awesomeness of my gift means a card simply isn't needed :) Plus it's going to a man, men don't need cards, they need things that make loud noises or do cool **** and nothing else!

I agree with you MisChief, and I ain't no girl (no matter what KingDanger may claim)!

My thoughts on them have been detailed a page or two ago. Cards are lovely. Plus, I think the one I've sent to my SS is very apt (apart from it being a birthday card...)

Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

I've been lurking on the mathematics floor on livy tower all day trying to get a sneak of you but you've managed to escape my sight so far.

 Have you just identified yourself as my secret santa? ;)

Had a thought while having my tea....with the storms we had last week thats probably delayed a few gifts arriving when people thought they would.

Lol no I mean I'm hoping to get mine tomorrow...assuming it's been sent. I believe the present I sent has been received.
