Hang them by the testicles/ovaries if anyone dares to take goodwill and not give in return. My personal view is if anyone dose not contribute as they were obliged to and agreed to by signing up they are common thieves. Stealing the goodwill and money/gifts of other members and dirtying the reputation of and fun of a quite entertaining event.
Pretty harsh considering what you're going through. Im sure the OcUK community can pull something together should nothing show by tomorrow

Maybe your SS did what i did and sent it by a courier and told them to deliver at a later date (23rd)?

what i mean, is that the reason he can't send the pressie is because he's in hospital for one reason or another. hardly his fault if he is!

OH I knew your meaning, as in unfortunate circumstance preventing participation,
I was referring to intentional abstinence from participation, or in plain language being a scum-bag and not fulfilling their side of the agreement in being part of the SS.
It's Christmas post! Get it delivered asap! More chance for inevitable bugger-ups to be rectified

Do you know that they'll be in on the 23rd? If they aren't then they won't have a chance to get to the depot. Also with the busyness that is Christmas post there's a reasonable chance that it won't get delivered at all, especially if the weather turns bad for one day.
