anyone else getting lagged loading and 5 minute waits for pages to load and such? only seems to be affecting me here, everywhere else loads tootsweet lol

Worse than Saturday morning. Sections of the forum not loading, images not loading, lost connections. The shop isn’t much better. On BT Broadband.

Ok for me at the moment, had problems on Sunday late afternoon, but I think that was my Internet.

Interesting, was having a mare uploading by ftp so forced myself from the BT connection onto a Zen adsl, and no problems.

Could anyone having problems loading pages do a tracert and email the result to [email protected]?

I'll raise it as a possible network problem.

Sent tracert through. Other sites seems ok but forums and shop are very sluggish. Also on BT internet.

Took a good few seconds to try to resolve names step 2-6

Very bad here going off the NHS N3 to the real world (although that could be a multitude of normal N3 problems ). Has somebody tried poking the hamster on the wheel with a bigger stick?

Not a hamster issue, BT was stinking and arrived on lhr2.above.net, Zen was better and used lhr3.above.net but easynet is the best and uses Level3 (not above.net at all).

I've always liked L3 from the barrysworld days though :p

I have sky and ocuk had it's slow moments yesterday/last night

So it's ocuk end :p

Seems someone at BT has (allegedly) setup a counterstrike server on one of the routers (always knew it was a mistake putting unix on routers).

We've asked them to stop but you may have to wait until the end of the round ;)

(note there may be a perfectly reasonable explanation for unusual packet loss, but in my experience it's always a counter strike server).

Slow on my end too.
