Lol, my real name isn't really Dave :D :p

Checked my diary and this does seem feasible. Won't book the Silverstone ticket just yet, but will it screw up the campsite bookings if I book later?

Ohhh no we have a joker :p

I am guessing your name is Nick? I probably would have guessed if you didn't say Dave :D

It won't screw anything up even if you come down on the day and buy the tickets from the gate.

Update :

Right i rang the lady in the know today and she has informed me of the following

NO discount will be given evan if we book 15 pitchs ( Apprentley the owner has said no discounts are ever given out )

If your arriving friday and leaving sunday morning you have to pay £30 if you book in advance its £35 if you book on the day. She also said there will be plenty of space so getting a space on arrival is a DEFO ( Apprentley enough spaces for 5000 pitchs ) If you are only parking your car and staying in someone elses tent its going to be £7.50 x 2 apprentley. Not sure how that works out but i did say are you sure and she said yes.

I also spoke to her about having our own space and she dosent seem to see that as being a problem. Apprentley theres a 12 oclock rule tho and any noise after that time will meen we will be removed from the site in the morning.

Im going to have a hunt around to see if i can find any other camping sites in the surrounding area as to be honest im not keen on the 12 pm thing :)

Hope this helps

Yes try and find other sites. I will also do my best to check.

It was a nice site but £30 does seem kind of expensive for 2 nights and £15 just to park a car as well.

12 oclock rule sounds good , miserable old gits like me need our beauty sleep. If any of the guests in Gubby Manor get rowdy after 12pm I'll have the doorman chuck them out  and I'll have their Beer put in the wine cellar.

12 does give a fair bit of time, if you start drinking early enough it wont matter, all be dead by 12. ;)

I dont think that rule will be that much of a problem as long as we stop any music etc. Sitting chatting etc will be fine.

She thinks this event will be a busy one :)

I doubt anyone will either be up at 12pm or be rowdy so I wouldn't be worreid about the 12pm rule. I think most of us were flaked out before 12 last time :p

I have only found one other campsite nearby and it might only be open for the GP :( I am not too bothered though the campsite was excellent last time.
