I'm getting deja-vu. Don't think I'll come to any more OCUK meets car always seems to **** up..

Yes, Friday. It depends if you count today as a day... 3 days if you like.

Your car is not working then? Speak to Chris he might be able to give you a lift?

Its working, but big gouges taken out of the water pump belt :o.. Decided I wont spend money on it, to get though the mot. Going to have a look at a few cheap cars today sub £300... Wonder If I can get any LOL... If not I'll get insured on my dads for *** weekend.. :)...
 
Im aiming to be there on the sunday (going to Alton Towers on saturday) if I see a group of hungover, tired people falling asleep during the racing ill come and say hello.

Are meeting @ chieveley services ( POST CODE - RG18 9XX ) @ 12 PM, My little group are going to be getting there for around 11:45 so if the southampton / bristol lot dont mind getting there a bit earlier then that would be great. From there we will then travel straight to the campsite.

Please can people remember to bring the following items and remember the following Points

Please make sure you put all your rubbish in your own / someone elses bin bag. Last year we left it till the morning and this proved to be a bit of a pain ( Clearing up crap when you have a hangover is NOT fun ) I want as much bed time before the racing as possible. It will also make a good impression with land owner.

Bricks / BBQs with a stand

I dont want to see ANYONE using there BBQ directley on the grass, do it and ill kick yo ass , comprehende ;)

No wheel spinning / Handbrake turns in the Field

The LandOwner has asked specifically that we dont mess up his field as his yearly event ( silverstone F1 Camping ) is coming up and unfortantley the field is still a little "Damp" So as tempting as it may be ( jesus im going to have to really hold back haha ) Lets leave that to the tarmac outside the campsite

Think thats about it, the most important thing is that everyone gets along and enjoys the show :)

Agreed on keeping fire off the grass though!
 
No problems there, I've gotta get kitted out with the BBQ's and some beer yet. Hopefully food should stay ok in a proper cool bag with cooling blocks in it because its not that warm at the minute. I'm sticking to bacon on the BBQ though, at least I know that'll cook properly!

On the day i will collect £20 from each of you ticking your name off as i go, then i will hand the money over to richard. There wont be a massive rush or anything but if you guys could have it for friday evening sometime then that would be fantastic.

How damp? Sinking to my axles damp? If so, does the landowner have a tractor/land rover/carthorse handy?
