As per title :)

After something that is quite easy and cheap to look after and looks fairly pretty (Not a goldfish thanks :p)

Edit: Oh, a Pet, I have 2 Blackmoores, takes the same amount of care as a goldfish :). They swim a little differently too, they use there tails but shake there butts way more furiously than most fish.

black moor seems the best suggestion so far and i had some when i was younger there great and so easy to look after

edit: Koi! Buy 'em cheap, feed 'em, they grow and you can re-sell for lots more.... ;)
 
Guppy!, and only nice Guppies !

Farther apparently had quite a few after he bred lots of the beautiful ones that were given to him... had to dish them out on his move to england though :(

even the mono photos he took looked nice

WHy does everyone get so excited over red-tailed sharks?? I have always thought of them as some of the most dull tropical fish out there.

I personally keep in my two tanks, black phantoms, a platinum angel fish, two red clay crayfish, and an opaline gourami. I have previously kept Oscars and Silver Dollars :D (oh, and Betta's too!)

All interesting fish :)
