Must confess I've fallen out with watercooling, purely because air cooling is so good these days and I change components so often!

What made you choose the megalehems over say a phanteks, noctua or Thermalright?
 
very nice case indeed

it really does make you want to drop all the fancy watercooling/UV/LEDs/sidepanel windows etc and get something simple and tidy like this.

cheers w3bbo, I must admit, I was all for watercooling this and smashing some koolance QDC fittings on it and running an external rad setup, but in honesty it was proving a nightmare to get a res that fit the case along with a D5. It will be pointless selling my block and D5 but I can easily get rid of some WC hardware next time I decide to do a build in a big case.


I tried to fit a Phanteks as I really really like them but I have always liked the megahalems and the megahalems black looks ace in the flesh. i wanted to use black noiseblockers as well so it topped it off well in the end.

My CPU temperatures are peaking at 70'c which are about 15 higher than my watercooling was. hardly the end of the world.

I could, but the 900rpm fan is silent so its worth having. I need to consider replacing the 45' fan at the bottom of the case to give the graphics card a bit more airflow.
