Lol, don't worry I have no problem having a sensible discussion.

Design technica did a review of the e3g and said it had more bass than the C version which started the rumours, basically the reviewer just got it plain wrong.

They have the same acoustic system, no changes what so ever, as has been stated by Shure themselfs, fact.

I never actually said there was a point to the Gs, I was just pointing out that they were the same size compared to the Cs in black. In white the Cs are indeed longer, but not everybody likes white.

The E2C and the E2G do have some differnces, trust me as i gave both serious consideration. The G is obviously a different colour and does have shorter cables by about 0.5 of a metre. They do have all the same audio equipement though from what ive read in the way of drivers etc, although i have heard people say the opening on the Gs is a bit wider, making them somewhat uncomfortable for a few people.

I have a set of E5c's. I was after a set of E4's but got a good deal on an unwanted pressy after Xmas.

E3's and E4's are becoming popular with bikers, with Sat Nav on PDA's becoming the norm to be fitted with touring bikes. These and earphones like them are still very comfortable even with a helmet on, as they sit flat with your ear.

I'm getting an adapter from autocom to replace autocoms helmet speakers, as the sound for my DAB radio and mp3 sounds a lot better through the E5's than autocoms headphones.

Just another outlet for potential sales if OcUK start knocking them out.
