I voted Courtois AND De Gea. Because I could
So you can! I did too.
As I said above, Dea Gea's had the more impressive season because he's had more work to do. There's something special about Courtois though.
In the last 10 years or so we've had a lot of decent shot stoppers and keepers that can ping 50 yard passes but none seem to be able to dominate their area. Even De Gea, he's starting to get praised for his handling but the reality to me is that it's still pretty average (relatively speaking), it's just not a glaring weakness anymore. Courtois though is a beast. Anything that's even remotely close to him he comes out and takes and makes it looks so comfortable. It's not as eye catching as a great save but he's not having to make those saves because he's snuffing out the danger straight away. Not that he's not an incredible shot stopper when called upon too.

Courtois is a fantastic goalkeeper, as I have said for a while Chelsea fans. Love how Baz cannot just say De Gea

Ps, don't understand why it's a multiple choice poll, if you're trying to build a 'team of the year' then you should have one choice as it's one player in the position.

Well, Baz's team of the year wouldn't ever concede a goal with both De Gea and Courtois in goal

They're both at about the same level for me personally, I think De Gea has had the better season (you could argue that with less goals conceded Courtois has though) but c'mon, pick one or the other a team of the year

.De Gea for me, made some amazing saves and got Man U some points they didn't deserve in quite a few games. See him as having more of an impact than any of the other keepers. (Although Ospina's impact on Oscar was pretty good

The OP's request for a multiple choice poll was so the poll could be changed for each position I assume not so people could vote more than once for the same position however that's not how the polls here work.
Any further threads won't have that option.

The next poll will be for full backs and rather than doing a left poll and then a right poll and the whole team creation taking until August the multiple choice option was to allow two choices, left and right and then for the central pairing again, two choices.
