OcUK Value powerlines...any good?!

Looking at getting some powerlines to enable me to stream HD content from PC upstairs to PS3/Media Streamer in living room. And also stop the intermittent lag for online gaming when on PC.

House is only 1 year old so will have ok wiring.

It seems OcUK are out of stock of TP Link ones which I was originally looking to get, just wondering what the 200mb own brands are like?

I imagine they will do the job just as well but if you wait for the TP link ones I have them and have no had a dropout or any issues with them for a couple of months.

Cheers, what connection are you managing with the TP link? Reading reviews people seem to be getting around 100? Should be ok to stream 1080p then?

Yeh connects at about 125 its enough to stream 30gb rips over the network without an issue

I found mine struggled with anything above 10gig (Which are Backup copies of the originals that I purchased

)

Never had a problem with some advent 80mbps powerline plugs I had a while ago.
Much better than wireless I'd say
