trying to clamp it to the desk, thrustmaster didn't think the clamp through, its quite fiddly, i can see me buying a stand just to keep the wheel attached at all times

I clamp it through my overclockers XL mouse mat (other mice mats may be available ) seems to hold well enough

ok , i was thinking in terms of removal and getting it back on every day, going to be a right pain!

also, can you do me a favour (as i know you have same wheel) take a pic of the screw that holds the wheel on as im not sure if i should go in any more ?

when it starts up it going BANG and BANG (left and right) but then its silent, well almost, you can hear the fan (i think its a fan blowing), other than that its silent apart from the moment of the desk

You know that screw can sit flush without sticking out, right? You have to rotate your wheel when you attach it so the screw inserts onto the flat area of large thread and doesn't go through the threads plastic.
