*** OcUK VR Sim Racing Thread [2024 Season] ***

It seems I spoke too soon. It's back to not having it.
Strangely, it seems to work for now in AMS2. Probably won't next time I try it.

AC occasionally works, but usually launches into a black screen with a broken sound loop and needs to be ended by task manager.
I can sometimes get in and it's more or less ok, then hangs when I exit. Launch again and it's not working.

ACC works for a moment and then freezes.

All that's changed since yesterday is the Oculus software.

I've DDU'd and reinstalled GPU drivers and I'm absolutely baffled.

How are you connecting? Airlink, Steam VR?

I use a powered link cable.
Test connection and other VR games work fine, so I'm fairly sure the cable hasn't suddenly started failing.
Other games work fine? Streaming from your PC?
That's odd. Perhaps a USB conflict with your wheel since that's the common denominator.

Nah, I've tried with all accessories switched off + it'd be weird for that to suddenly be an issue after all this time, but PC's are weird, so...

Yes, streaming from my PC.

Ok, it's kind of decided to work today, for now at least.
I am getting lower fps though, and openXR in ACC is only giving 6fps.

Still some weirdness at play. I dunno.

Have you opted in for the Occulus Beta software in their app? Dunno if there is one as I'm using Steam VR wireless.

No. My router is downstairs (& crap anyway) and I prefer a wired connection for simming.
Like I say, it was all cool until the latest update. I don't think it's a coincidence.
