When I am in the badlands level (grand canyon style one), I get a Tom Cruise kinda feeling.... Sometimes I am so close to the enemy, I could flip them the bird!!!

Windle - stop laying mines in front of my favourite weapons!!

Forty7 - I can already see we are gonna have some beef over this game I think you killed me more than anyone else tonight :D

Ammocity - Once I get a headset I think we may do well to be on the same team.

p.s. Anyone else able to host tomorrow? It does a bandwidth test when you create an online game and that dictates the max players. Mine is shown as 49,000 upstream and 870,000 downstream (8128k/448k ADSL Max). Anyone with a Higher upload able to try create a game and see what it shows max players can be?

At some points it felt like you were ignoring the other battles to hunt me down.
Damn fine games though and I don't know what I would do if I was on your team.

They suck. Trust me, you occasionally get an "ok" person on one but even at that the sound level tends to be too low. As mentioned above, more normal is the fact that your voice comes through completely distorted such as smallios to the point where you can't make anything out. Everyone i spoke to tonight on the ranked set had a USB headset and you can make out the difference immediately.

Could you ever make out me when i spoke?

RFOM was terrible as it never had a good enough noise gate on the speech. I am using an old Jabra BT200 i found, surely the BT125 cant be too different?

I can host 12 Players, and luckily i'm going out on the bevvy tomorrow night and being the kind generous man i am i don't mind leaving my PS3 running a server for you chumps if you specify a map rotation which will have to run for 8hrs or so :)

And for the record, i could make somebody out who said they had their old phone bluetooth headset. You were crackly but i could hear you. I couldn't work who was talking most of the time as it was crackly and i didn't know who it was unless i was flying next to them lol (you get a mic icon above u when talking)

Oh and rp, i'll stop laying mines if you stop hitting them ;)

Haha, i bet Windle used to play the old 3d0 game, Return fire with tactics like that. :p
 
Can somebody knock out a preferred map rotation, preferably with different gametypes and i'll set it up when i get in from work tomorrow (4-4:30ish) And it'll be running till midnight+
 
I do that also. Lay a mine right next to homing missiles. Works a treat!

This game is very good, just would be good if everyone has a headset. Dont think i heard anyone tonight.

I'll post one tomorrow, if that's OK (I'm home all day anyway so will mess around and pick some different game types etc). Won't be playing it much tomorrow evening, BIG BROTHER FINAL and all. But i'll pop in and out as its a dedicated server!

What sort of broadband upload/download you got then to fit 12 players?

7024 Kb/s Down, 652 Kb/s Up

It's a forced Synch at 7mb btw, not entirely sure why. Can't say it bothers me :) Hopefully moving to Be soon, then i should have about 20mb down/maybe 1.5mb up :) Got to love living close to the exchange :D
