I managed to get the flag all the way from their base to our base, pretty much on foot, held it in our base for about 5mins, before getting teamkilled by someone! lol was great fun though!

Yeah, 3 ppl in the jeep gangbang the base and steal the flag, and the rest just blindly defend until they can afford a headset ;-)

I like that Archpilego one on CTF, not only do you have to get your flag back, but you have to be careful not to fall of the cliffs/edge into the water!!! I think thats the one where we had a standoff, both teams had the others' flag at their own base.....

Team kills big problem in CTF it gets a bit mad sometimes near the flag, i killed rp2000 and someone else with a grenade mis throw and the other team got the flag ( sorry guys!). Sometimes you just cant help team kills though flying about in a 4x4 when one of your team mates step out in font of you (green cross code!!) all in all as long as they know it was an accident its not so bad.
 
Anyone fancy a game this Sunday as well? I know a lot of people will have Halo 3 to play this week, but i'm a bit bored of it already so will be around for Warhawk if there is enough interest.

Very very definitely! Inoshishi, if you're half dead and can't play, how big a dedicated (ranked) server can your connection manage? ;)

Ranked cannot be passworded so unless you are there at your end kicking non OcUK users, it won't work. I used to have 8MB ADSL MAX with same upload as you. Your upload will be 448k assuming you have Zen pro (the 50gb limit one). When I had that upload I could host 8 player games only.

Unfortunately I forgot I am going out this evening so I won't be around.

Wouldn't be surprised if we got less than 8 tonight though. Unless you know 8 people on this forum with a PS3 who do not have a 360 with Halo 3 as well ;-)

I think last week whilst we hosted a 16 player match most of the time there was about 12 of us only, I think.

I think I am heading out about 8:30 so I may be around for a couple of games. I can leave my machine hosting as a last resort, but it would be better if someone who is playing hosts, as if the map rotation is wrong or the score limits are set too short (or ppl drop out and you want smaller maps) then you will be stuck.

I'll host an 8 player server this evening at 8. Server name : OcUK Warhawk Night pass : catlitter (don't ask)... :p


Current rotation stands at :
1. Archipelago-Southern Islands. Zones. Score Limit 3000 Time Limit 20mins.
2. The Badlands-Fortress. TDM. Score Limit 50. Time Limit 20 Min
3. Island Outpost-Dogfight. TDM. Score Limit 50 Time Limit 20 Min
4. Eucadia-Urban Strike. CTF. Score Limit 3 Time Limit 20 Min
5. Destroyed Capitol-King Of The Hill. Zones. Score Limit 3000 Time Limit 20 Min
6. The Badlands-Dogfight. DM. Score Limit 200. Time Limit 20 Min

That seems about right. 15 minute rounds were too short last week, so I've gone for 20, but may up to 25 minutes depending on the concensus! Does anyone know why DM defaults to 200 score limit but TDM defaults to 50? :P

Still got some work to finish (again) so I may have to miss out tonight, unless I can grab 15 minutes later to give you lot some target practice.
