OcUK watercooling kit

Ok everything put in place. No more leaks, there were a couple of small drips due to the clips not being tight enough on the hoses. However now when I turn it on it just starts with the grapgics card fan on full power as it normally does for a few seconds, but this doesn't stop and it just stays on full speed. Nothing appears on screen. Bit confused as to what this could be.

Any ideas?

I actually used a 3pin to molex converter.

Some drops of feser did get onto graphics. maybe mobo but don't think so. Although it should non-conductive so I wouldn't imagine a few drops would do anything. I'll leave it off for a while then see of it wants to be happy

Well it definitely went on the graphics a but the fan clearly works lol.

The mobo lights go on and it can turn on etc. Just no screen load up. Will take you advice and let dry off if there's anything else wet. Otherwise it'll be a new b-grade ip35 and 8800 lol

lol, ah well. When you do get it all going up again let me know what the temps you get. What was it like you made the w/c kit go for the first time? apart from the odd leak.

There's quite a few bubbles in it but need to get those out. Not too hard to put together. Just a case of making sure everything is as tight as possible. Just want to know what temps I should expect. Hehe.

It's alive. Prelminary temps looking good. Will report back once all wires back and sides on.

It was the mobo. Windows vista is installing all updates automatically and all seems well. Temps with sides off seem 30-35 idle. Around 49 full load but could be misleading at this stage. Also system is still full of air and needs bleeding lots. Can't be helping temps. I'm also trying to bear in mind the AS5 5 degree drop in 200 hours.

Yeah. Just installing graphics drivers so I can actually see things on the screen at an unridiculous resolution.

Preliminary temps looking good. Tomorrow I'm going to have to bleed system so that I don't damage the pump. At present I have the case at 45 degrees so all liquid is going through pump and no air is getting sucked through.

Wiring done, bled, all running well. Will get some temps tomorrow but in a stuffy room temps seem to be:
34/5
34/5
28/30
34/5

Load is 49 max after about 30 mins of prime. I'm hoping for a nice drop in temps when as5 kicks in and also bearing in mind room is so hot :)

Effort has been worth it. Plus it gave me the excuse to upgrade my system lol.

Prime95 8 hour test temps and pics tomorrow!
