OCUK WEb site rant

They really should get a UX designer in to help rework it. I preferred the old website.

This.

I used to browse the old site constantly, the new one? Not so much. Still not sure why the change.

It went from a user friendly site to the opposite IMO.

Have to say I've bought less stuff at OcUK since the change as I can often find what I'm looking for quicker and easier elsewhere :( I used to use OcUK a lot partly because the old site I could find stuff quicker than most other places. Main problem is there is just too much irrelevant noise on each page to filter out to find what I want.

And this.

An example.

I enter "palit 1070" into search. It retrieves 4 results...out of 34 found.

Wow.

I then have to keep pressing the "view next products" button to retrieve more results.

Just awful.

I used to be a programmer and I'd be embarrassed to have this on my CV.

Note, this search was done on an Android tablet.

It was unified over all the companies operating under OcUK's now parent company. Its not a bad design as such but could do with some de-cluttering.

EDIT: Probably worth pointing out that I had no idea where it was either, never used it before. So that took me all of three minutes :p
You must be much better than me then :p

However I seem to have started something

I agree in general, the new one is way to cluttered and certain things that direct you to x page are listed multiple times on the same page contributing to said clutter.

Get rid of this eyesore at the top ;

Who uses a price slider !

'Brands' could be added to a tab, similar to 'New Products', 'Offers' etc. or in the 'Sort By' drop down menu.

Needless clutter
