13hr flight

Currently at 49G.

Pros - No one behind me
Get to disembark sooner, meaning get through immigration with less people in front of me
I can lean back without someone behind me (I know it won't be fully but i never do that anyway)
Get food sooner
Chance of never having to get up because middle seat is empty.

Cons
People will keep walking past me to the loo

If I were to move, it would be Row 70....Aisle seat, but the chances of that being empty until the flight is close to zero. So that means I will have to get up anyway. But for the slim chance of getting an empty row and lay flat.....

So, where would you sit?

I am broke...but accept donations.
In all seriousness, it's a tricky one.

It's a long flight to be by the loos, they'll be busy.

My default would be a window if I could get one. Being able to have a look out can give you an escape for a bit at least and you know at least one side of you isn't going to have a random elbow monster attacking you.

For me a window would take preference over anything else there TBH.

I used to like window seats but for a long flight there really isn't much to look at at night in the dark. I have a window seat on the way back as there are no aisle seat then.

I guess my main concern it is next to the loo and it will be busy just before and after meal times with people standing right next to me.

Ah night you say.

It's a preference thing then, I'd still take a window to rest up against for some shut eye.

E: But in reality I'd be only be flying for that amount of time in business class

Would not take the back row, at certain times people will be queueing at side of you, leaning on backrest etc

even before the stench comes into play :)

73D for me. I prefer aisles and done super long haul in economy loads. Chances are middle will stay free but if it isn’t then that person has two options to get out and one of them means you don’t have to. Elsewhere non window you are 100% getting up.

You might not also be able to recline that seat there as well as they can often be up against the wall.

70A would be my choice and hope nobody else moves to the seats adjacent.

You picked literally the worst seat on the plane... In front of the toilet which will be stinking up the area, in addition to all the people passing by and hanging around...

70C would be my choice of what's left.
