Definitely MoH.
So much hype and so little actual content. Was basically just a point-and-click follow-the-story type shoot-em-up with little depth, poor story/acting and the SP only lasted about 4 hours... MP was a joke. pop your head up and your'e dead before you've properly spawned. ridiculous spam everywhere. terrible bugs.. meh....
BlackOps has been MILES more entertaining but still pretty meh.... the launch issues were extremely annoying and now that they are fixed most people have already prestiged at least once if not more. I prestiged a couple of times but don't really see the point any more.
Where's the long-term playability of BC2 and TF2? Those games knew how to keep you playing...
It's tough when I inevitably have to compare everything to Bad Company 2 (incl. Vietnam) which is just awesome on all levels. Nothing's gonna stack up against it it seems.

Shocked to see so many people posting Black Ops as the worst game. Truelly I am anything but a fanboy of the COD series, much prefer CS and TF2 but I really enjoed Black Ops :S.
Most let down for me has to be AVP. No other game have I ever wanted to do so well and it fell at almost every hurdle

Epic failure with that one!
AvP - PC version. Awful game, it looked fairly nice but it was such a let down and even the Dx11 mode couldn't save it. In the end, played the marine missions for a few hours and never loaded it up again.
COD Black Ops - PS3 version, it was totally ruined by being overhyped and looked awful and by all accounts the PS3 version was the worse of the bunch. I knew I shouldn't have picked up it, but I did and promptly traded it up... COD series went downhill after modern warfare.
Star Wars Force Unleshed II - I picked up the PC version, it was such a slap dash console port that I needed to limit the fps to 30 to ensure the cutscenes didn't skip when forcing V sync. Game had hardly any graphics options and after getting it to run, game was short, boring and hardly worth it.
now, game I felt was the save of the year for me has to be F1 2010. It was released way to early, bugged and had a lot of issues. Codemasters for the first time did respond and released fixes to one of their games. They normally don't bother fixing anything, but such a mess F1 2010 was in on release I think they had little choice... PS3 version is now fantastic post patch, PC version still has issues but its a great game saved by codemasters support.
Game I shouldn't have purchased, not because its bad... Just not my thing. Fallout NV. played it for about 3 hours and just had no idea what I was doing or could I get into it.... From all accounts great game, just a waste of money for me..
And seeing as we're taking about 2010 games... Game of the year for me.. GT5 on the PS3. Ploughed so many hours into this already, worth every penny spent on it....

Compared to my expectations, Just Cause 2 and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit were both huge disappointments. I don't think I was expecting too much from either game but they still managed to fail in my opinion. Either one is my personal worst game of the year (again, compared to my expectations).
Elemental was a huge disappointment too but the development continues on that one so we'll see.

good to see loads of people hating FFXIV - my girlfiend was after that... I can warn her off it now.

On the plus side, its currently only £15 high-street retail, though add the sub fee on top of that. I have no idea how the 'Super magical fixes' are coming along SE and the fan bois promised. Have not heard anything from their camp in a while.
