I would like some advice please. I've been having trouble with my SSD, but am not entirely sure if it's the SSD at fault. I'll explain what happened.

A few weeks ago my PC wouldn't boot. I can't remember the exact error but it's no big deal, I'd been thinking of a fresh install anyway, and all my personal data is on another drive. So I reinstalled, or tried to. The SSD wasn't coming up in the BIOS, well it did as "yatapdong barefoot". After a quick look on the OCZ forums I asked for a destructive flash which worked, so I proceeded to install windows.

Everything was fine for a few days, then it wouldn't boot again. Very frustrating. I think it was during the restart after Service Pack 1 that it stopped working.

Being at Uni its the only PC I have, so I had no choice but to reinstall again! Which worked fine. Then what confuses me: it wouldn't boot. It said "bootmgr is missing". I tried system restore, it couldn't find any (I had made some) I tried start up repair, it couldn't find a windows install! So I installed on my HDD again to see what was happening. Windows recognised the drive, but it was completely empty - formatted, but empty. The night before there was an entire windows install on there, all I'd done is turn it on and off? There weren't even any updates this time!

Any ideas what this might be? I would've thought a faulty drive would fail and not come up as empty or something? That being said I don't know much about SSDs.

Thank you in advance!
