Hi

For anyone interested heres an ATTO bench on a 3-year old 120gb drive:

At new these speeds would have been 230 read/160 write. Its probably worth noting that theres only 24.5GB free on the drive at this time. Its been used pretty much every day for several hours.

Not really been keeping that upto date with SSDs but I am considering getting a new one soon, perhaps an Agility3 since they've become so cheap recently.

I'm not sure I would notice too much of a difference even if I did upgrade. I game with a friend who has a Vertex 3 and the difference when loading into games is about 1 second or so.

If you're getting a new SSD, go for Crucial M4, they're one of the best.

I dunno if you'll see any real world difference, M4 is 2-3 times faster (on a SATA 3 connection) and if there is any, you'll probably see them during boot time and games loading screen.
