OCZ petrol ssd dead

Hi, it appears my drive is now dead, pretty much no detection at all during bootup.

I would like to know if i can get anything off it at all like pics, vids? Their of my son and family.

The drive is approx 6 months old so ill take it back to the shop i got it. Shouldn't be a problem hopefully!

What drive would you suggest as i hope to get a refund and buy here. Ill have around £100.

think i have the same problem as you... what size was it 64gb?

my pc only randomly detects it now and when i do get into windows the system hands and freezes for ages at a time...

if you look about i think you can get a corsair 256gb for 117 is pound... i have 2 of these in a mian PC and second Pc and never had any problems and performance is great.

i dont know how youd recover the data if its not showing up in windows

leaving it unplugged for a few hours might help idk?

if i were you two id go for a popular brand like the samsung 830 128gb or 256gb ssd
