Hi all, first of all I'm not a massive OC'er and just OC my system based on info obtained from the forum. I have the above OCZ Reaper 1066 ram in my PQ5 Deluxe. I have a Q6600 which is clocked at 3.02 Mhz. All is fine but I noticed that the RAM is working in dual channel mode at 825 clock speed. But when I reset my CPU back to stock the ram timings go back to 1066.

When overclocked I have my settings as FSB 100, CPU multiplier is 9 and system speed is 333.

I disable C1E so I can overclock and all other settings such as RAM are on auto. Can anyone advise where I'm going wrong please?

I'm going to pass on the explanations and just jump right in.

Find "DRAM Frequency" in the BIOS and change it from Auto to 1066MHz. You might want to set the RAM timings and voltage manually while you're at it.

If 1066 MHz isn't an option then change the "FSB Strap to North Bridge" from Auto to 333MHz and then see if 1066MHz is an option under "DRAM Frequency".

Save your current settings to an OC profile in the BIOS in case you need to clear the CMOS and then you can load those settings.
